Talang Riding School specializes in preparing young riders and amateurs for the local and 'A' show circuits in hunters, equitation and jumpers. Our schedule for 2009 will posted soon!
Beginner students at Talang learn the basics of horsemanship and equitation. Older students learn good flat work and dressage as it relates to jumping. All youngsters are started on safe and manageable ponies or horses. There are opportunities for learning and fun year round at the barn. ABOUT SAMANTHA:
Samantha E. Pigott has been showing hunters and jumpers since the age of 12 on the 'A' circuit both on the West and East coast. As a junior rider in California she competed in the regional McClay and what was then the AHSA finals. She was fourth in the Northern California Equitation Finals in 1992 as well as third in the PHA medal finals.
As a professional rider in Virginia she has successfully shown in the Young Jumper Championships (for four year olds) and up to level six in the open jumper divisions. She has also started several young hunters in the baby green and pre green divisions.
